SIWOK CRAFTS

Is a business with a social and sustainably ecological target that produces crafts with the Wichi Indians from the north of Argentina and allows more than a 100 Wichi families to make a living. The crafts are handmade and all materials come from their environment, making a wise use of the forest resources.
:: The silver and alpaca works are an important tradition in the Los Andes culture.

Horacio Bertero, (www.redsalta.com/hbertero) specially dedicated to Platería Gauchesca, is established in Salta, Argentina, a place where traditions are part of everyday life and it is there where he continues with his creations. His present line of work is displayed in each mate, sugar bowl, knife, lamp, frame and stirrup he shows as part of his craft.
:: A wide variety of shawls, ruanas, throws, covers, bedspreads, coats made of llama, cotton, wool are offered in a colorful array that imitates the colors nature shows in the local scenery where these products were manufactured.

Hands that follow noble and old traditions with the exclusive and latest modern trends in fashion and home decoration in eco materials versions.
:: Jewelry made of alpaca, horn and silverplate: earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets. Visitors will be able to choose and see contemporary and traditional designs in beautiful combinations of a new and old spirit in mostly Rodocrocita and Lapizlazuli, the local semi precious stone that is found in Andalgalá mines, in the Catamarca province of Argentina.

Each piece is handmade one by one, respectful of imperfections that make them exclusive and unique.
