21º WCD:
• AMERICAN ACADEMY
OF DERMATOLOGY: The International League of Dermatological
Societies 21st World Congress of Dermatology is recognized by
the AAD for 35.0 hour(s) of AAD category 1 CME credit and may
be used toward the American Academy of Dermatology’s Continuing
Medical Education Award.
• EACCME: The 21st World Congress of Dermatology
is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
(EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME
is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
The 21st
World Congress of Dermatology is designated for a maximum of 30 hours
of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should
claim only those hours of credit that he/ she actually spent in the
educational activity.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the
Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA).
• DERMATOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF SOUTH AFRICA: Under
the South African Continuing Medical Education regulations, any dermatologist
in South Africa who attends the congress will be able to obtain continuing Medical
Education credits.
• EUROPEAN WOMEN’S DERMATOLOGIC SOCIETY: Belgian
attendants to the 21st World Congress of Dermatology only need a certificate
of attendance in order to claim their CME points.
• FRENCH SOCIETY OF DERMATOLOGY: A certificate
of attendance will be sufficient for claiming CME credits.
• GERMAN DERMATOLOGICAL SOCIETY: the German Dermatologic
Academy (Deutsche Dermatologische Akademie, DDA) will follow the rules of the
EACCME in Brussels.
• HEALTH PROFESSIONS COUNCIL OF SOUTH AFRICA: Practitioners
who attend the 21st WCD can individually apply for approval of this congress
for continuing professional development presenting a Certificate of attendance.
• PHILIPPINE DERMATOLOGICAL SOCIETY: Members of
the Philippine Dermatological Society who will be attending the 21st WCD will
be required to submit Certificates of Attendance to fulfil annual CME requirements
at the Society.
• SAD (Sociedad Argentina de Dermatología): The
21st World Congress of Dermatology has been accredited by the Argentine Society
of Dermatology to provide the following: PRONADERM-DPC: categoría IV,
créditos 25.50
• THE AUSTRALASIAN
COLLEGE OF DERMATOLOGISTS: Australian dermatologists who
attend the 21st WCD will only need to provide the hours of attendance
at educational sessions in order to achieve PD points. Australasian
College of Dermatologist attendees can obtain CME points by obtaining
a certificate of attendance at the 21st WCD and also noting the
times and talks that they attended.
Category B points (one point per hour of attendance) in the College’s Professional
Development Program.
