Scientific Secretariat
A Scientific Secretariat will be set up at the venue. It will be
located at Pavilion 9, near the Registration Area, and will be
open throughout the Congress. There you will find assistance
for every question related to the scientific sessions. Its role
is to manage the following:
- General schedule of the sessions
- Reservation and planning of
the last-minute small meetings
- Loan
of extra material needed
for setting up the posters
- Attending
to every question related to the scientific sessions
Certificates
All scientific program participants will receive their certificate
after each session.
Questions / Discussion during Sessions
There are floor microphones in each Session Room. Participants
wishing to participate in discussion periods should stand by
the nearest microphone.
Schedule
Program timing and schedule will be strictly respected.
Speakers’ Pre-View
Room
There is a Speakers’ Pre-View Room located in the Exhibition
Area (Yellow Pavilion). Speakers can check and register their presentations
before the sessions.
To avoid delays caused by switching computers at the platform booting-up
computers and potential compatibility problems,
the Organizing Committee has made available to speakers the standard
A/V system for computer projection.
There will be a master computer
in each meeting room and to ensure smooth transition between speakers
and appropriate audiovisual technical support, the organizers request
that speakers do not plan on connecting their laptop to the LCD
projector, nor even bring their own LCDs.
Speakers are kindly requested
to go to the Pre-View room and hand in their Power Point® presentation
and check it through at least three hours before the beginning
of their session.
Speakers making their presentation in the early
morning sessions should ensure that they have checked in during
the previous day.
Opening hours:
Sunday, September 30 9.00 to 19.00 h
Monday, October 1, to Thursday, October 4 7.30 to 18.30 h
Friday, October 5 8.00 to 16.00 h
Technical Information for Sessions

in the program. The indicated lecture time generally includes
discussion time. Each room will be equipped with a video projector
for computer- assisted presentations, except posters area.
