PRESS ROOM
The press room is located in Room Ceibo C (1st Floor). Press room facilities can only be used by registered media members. In order to secure access to the press room, all registered media representatives should be wearing their press badge. For press registration, please visit the official web site of the World Congress of Dermatology by clicking here www.dermato2007.org and read the eligibility requirements for media attendees.

PRESS CONFERENCES
Press conferences will be held in Room Ceibo A (1st Floor), which features a U-shaped distribution of 25 seats. During the Congress, from 13.30 p.m. to 14.30 p.m. in this room, the Congress will be holding “Daily Briefings” in which the main speakers of the day will provide a digest version of their previous scientific presentations specially tailored for the media. The selection of the issues for each briefing as well as the appointment of the speakers will be made by the Executive Committee of the Congress. This information will be officially announced at the official website of the Congress on September 28th. The Committee reserves the right to make any schedule changes according to speakers’ availability.

If any company is interested in carrying out any press activity in the press room or any other room having a larger capacity, it should book this room in advance, contacting the Press Office Team. Room-booking cannot exceed a period of 90 minutes’ time for each media activity. Media activities of this kind will be referred to as Private Press Conferences (PPC).

For catering service at PPCs, all bookers should choose, without exception, among the four catering companies pre-selected by the Authorities of the Congress. For further information on this issue, please contact travel@dermato2007.org Mr. Andrés Goldschmidt.

MEDIA KITS

Exhibitors’ media kits do not require previous approval from the Scientific Committee of the World Congress of Dermatology. Each company is responsible for the content of the media kit it issues. However, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to object to the distribution of any press materials it may consider off-subject or discordant with the objectives and subject matters of the Congress.

Press materials can be dropped off at the press room every day through the duration of the Congress from 8:00 a.m to 6 p.m.

Press materials will be stacked on a bench to be consulted or taken freely by registered media representatives.

Though the inclusion of an overt reference to the World Congress of Dermatology in the press materials distributed throughout this meeting is by no means compulsory, any acknowledgment or reference to it will be highly appreciated.

Each company is free to set its own policy regarding embargo dates of press materials, depending on its own particular authorship needs. The Authorities of the Congress will not interfere on press releases unless, as mentioned before, the Authorities consider such materials discordant with the objectives and subject matter of the Congress.
